  A MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

Success in today's global business environment requires leaders who are flexible and responsive to change. Leaders must be able to solve complex problems that simultaneously involve technology, human resources, strategic, financial and marketing issues. The UALR Executive MBA program is an intense, fast paced, hands-on program focused on assisting experienced managers gain the skills you need, all in a time frame that is right for you. This program is an alternating weekend program that is completed in eighteen months without interrupting your career. During the initial months, the courses are focused on helping you master the knowledge and tools that every business executive needs to make decisions. Later courses are focused on application. Faculty provide you with the opportunity to apply your knowledge in real world consulting projects. To complete the program, you work on an integrative capstone project developing a business plan for a high- growthpotential technology firm. In addition, throughout the eighteen-month program there is a professional development seminar which focuses on further developing your teambuilding, leadership, ethical, and entrepreneurial skills. You will belong to an elite network of influential executives who will become lifelong friends, dedicated to consulting regularly with each other, making referrals, and exploring business opportunities. You will gain confidence learning from experts in different fields, contributing your strengths and expertise to group projects and ultimately developing lasting friendships as a result of these shared experiences. We invite you to learn more about our program by personally visiting us here at the new state-of-the-art Donald W. Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development, and on our web site. Give us a call, and we can set up a meeting for you to talk with our alumni, current students, faculty, and staff, who can discuss how the UALR Executive MBA program changed their lives both professionally and personally.
